While I was visiting my boyfriend in New Mexico we went to White Sands National Monument, which is about 20 minutes south of Alamogordo. It was beautiful! They have sleds that you can purchase (and they will buy them back) so that you can sled down the dunes. It feels weird because it is much slower than snow. As you will see, my boyfriend tumbled all the way down. We were so lucky to run into a professional photographer, Patricia Raglin. She took these amazing photos of us! This was by far my favorite place that we went that week because it is so peaceful, quiet and a welcomed change from the surrounding brown landscape.
