I love layering my military-style jacket with pretty much everything, but it’s typically too hot to wear it here in Vegas. For a more acceptable layering piece, I decided to look for a military vest. The search took a while, but I finally came across the perfect one at Banana Republic. It’s the perfect color and the cinched waist gives it a flattering shape. It also helped to go down a size so that it wouldn’t be too boxy or bulky. Best of all, it was on sale! The online price is $125, but I found it in the store for $98. Plus they were having a 40% sale, so I felt like a got a great deal, especially for the quality!
Speaking of sales, I also bought this T-shirt while the GAP was having a 40% off sale, making it only $14. Can you tell I’m obsessed with stripes? The mixed directions and twisted knot in the front make it unique, though. That’s my rationalization for buying ANOTHER striped T-shirt, anyways :)
