Why must weekends go by so quickly?! I’m never able to do everything I want to in just two days. To boost my Monday mood I like to dress up a little bit because when you look good, you feel good, right? We are able to wear jeans (and thus chambray shirts) to the office, so it’s a somewhat casual environment. I paired my denim button-up with a quilted leather pencil skirt (also seen here) and completed the look with a statement necklace and heels. These nude pumps caught my eye at Nordstrom recently and it was like Cinderella when I tried them on! The color matches my pale, pinkish skin tone perfectly, plus they are more matte rather than patent leather (I’m not a fan of the shininess). A good pair of nude heels is a must for any closet, so I’m excited to have finally found a winner!
